The Wonderful Holiday Season!

 

"Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus lane..."

The holiday season at Learning Home is always a joyous time for the kids, the parents and the staff. Everyone gets together and celebrates the festivities of Christmas in a fun and creative atmosphere. And, of course, the kids looooove presents!

On the last day of school for Term 1 we held our annual Christmas celebration. A week prior we had our Christmas Family Fun Fair where Learning Home families were invited to play games and win prizes. Here are some of our kids in action!

All of the kids did very well and won multiple prizes each.

We also had a large jumping playhouse the kids enjoyed. They spent hours bouncing and sliding around in there.

On the 21st of December, we had our big Christmas Party. We did Circle Time in the morning, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus, kids receiving their presents, followed by a gift exchange between then kids, then cooking class with Teacher Noo! It was a fun-filled, rambunctious morning!

...and then Santa Claus came...bearing many gifts for the kiddies.

Then it was picture time, followed by the children's gift exchange.

The gift exchange was a home run! The kids each brought a gift and everyone drew a number to receive a gift from another student.

Finally, we had our Christmas Cooking Class where the kids joined in and created their very own Christmas cupcakes.

All in all, we had a great time. Christmas cheer was bountiful and spirits were bright.
